At first glance you might think that a metal strap would be uncomfortable for you and risky for your camera's finish. But the folks at Canon have the metal strap snugly encased in plastic.

I love walking around with my camera around my neck, hands free and ready to take a photo at a moment's notice. Kinda like a 'Flava flav' version of camera as jewelry. (OK, you can skip the Viking helmet with the horns if you want to)

I actually use one for my cell phone and one for my camera. As a busy publicist, I need both close at hand at my clients' events, but don't want to be holding them in my hands or fishing for them in my bag.
